This Antique Victorian guard chain necklace has been commissioned in Silver gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold and features an exquisite cable link design.

The chain is complete with a large trigger clasp at the end which may have been used to attach a pocket watch or a cylinder of fur known as a Muff to keep the wearers hands warm in winter.

A wonderful chain which has a pleasing weight and will look fabulous when worn.
