Handmade Koru-inspired Pearl Earrings.
A pair of handmade pearl earrings, inspired by the koru. Hand-weaved using 14k gold-filled (Yellow gold or Rose gold) wires around a lustrous white pearl and sits beautifully on the earlobe when worn.
The koru (Māori for "loop") is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.
Earrings measure 9mm in diameter and comes with a butterfly earring backing of the same material.
The ends of the earposts are smoothed and rounded for comfort wear.
As theses earrings are handcrafted, please allow small differences from the ones as seen in the pictures.
