The Boston Railroad 029 is the 29th one-of-a-kind piece in Vortic's "Boston Railroad" line of the American Artisan Series. This watch contains the original movement (timepiece), dial (face), and hands from a vintage (1880’s – 1950’s) pocket watch. The American Artisan Series is a line of fully American Made wristwatches powered by restored, U.S. made pocket watch movements.

What makes the Boston Railroad 29 Unique: This watch is just spectacular. A Railroad Edition, this movement was originally made for the Canadian Railroad, and we know that due to its "Canadian Dial" that features the extra 24 hour markers in the center. If you look closely at the movement, you'll see the engraving is inlayed with red which is something we've never seen before. That red tone from the back really makes the engraving, and entire movement, stand out. We tried to match the almost purple 5 minute marker numerals on the dial with our Merlot strap, and we are so proud of how it turned out!
